As a Senior Software Designer, you will play a leading role in designing and developing the software that powers Ericsson’s licensing and entitlement capabilities. You will work in an international environment, collaborating closely with a cross‑functional‑agile team to build scalable, secure and robust services that enable efficient license management and usage control across Ericsson products. /ppBeyond hands‑on design, you will act as a technical reference representing a small team of engineers, guiding day‑to‑day work, ensuring technical alignment and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative problem solving. The team works according to Lean and Agile principles and values knowledge sharing at every stage. /ppIf you are an experienced cloud‑native engineer ready to take ownership of architecture decisions and team delivery, we encourage you to apply. /ph3What You Will Do /h3h3Architecture Design /h3ulliDefine complete end‑to‑end cloud‑native architectures that meet functional, performance and scalability requirements /liliAnalyze application footprint and assess resource consumption, infrastructure requirements and capacity sizing /liliDetermine scalability constraints and define appropriate sizing strategies for compute, storage and networking /liliDesign and document comprehensive cloud‑native solutions, ensuring alignment with product and engineering standards /li /ulh3Engineering Delivery /h3ulliAnalyze requirements and identify practical opportunities for software features and intelligent automation /liliDesign, implement and test cloud‑native components, services and data pipelines /liliBuild and maintain containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines /liliIntegrate modern software capabilities – including data processing, monitoring and automation tooling – where relevant to product needs /liliTroubleshoot complex issues, support integration activities and produce clear,
maintainable product documentation /liliContribute to product lifecycle activities and to the evolution of standards, guidelines and best practices /liliStay current with emerging technologies and proactively propose improvements to products and processes /li /ulh3Team Coordination /h3ulliCoordinate and provide technical direction to a small team of software engineers supporting planning, prioritization and workload distribution across team members /liliAct as a mentor and technical escalation point, promoting quality, consistency and growth within the team /liliCollaborate closely with product owners, SW designers and cross‑functional stakeholders /li /ulh3You Will Bring /h3h3Experience Education /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience /liliA minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud‑native software engineering or design roles /liliA minimum of 2 years of experience in team coordination or technical leadership /li /ulh3Technical Skills /h3ulliStrong, proven experience in end‑to‑end cloud‑native software design and architecture /liliDemonstrated ability to evaluate performance, scalability and capacity sizing for distributed systems /liliProficiency in performing footprint analysis to estimate compute, storage and networking needs /liliStrong programming skills in Python, Go or Java, with familiarity in scripting languages such as Bash /liliSolid hands‑on experience with cloud‑native platforms and container technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker /liliDeep understanding of software design principles, distributed architecture patterns and object‑oriented design /liliExperience with CI/CD tooling,
