Project: Hyperscale Data Centre New Build
Our client is a leading international main contractor delivering hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects across Europe. They are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a flagship data centre development in Milan.
The role covers full commercial management of MEP packages across the project lifecycle, working closely with project leadership, site teams, design managers and client representatives to ensure robust cost control, contract compliance and strong commercial performance.
You will be responsible for managing valuations, variations, procurement support and subcontractor accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and effective commercial management across all MEP scopes within a complex, fast-paced delivery environment.
Working closely with engineering, planning and delivery teams, you will ensure scope alignment,



cost certainty and commercial risk is actively managed in line with programme and client requirements.Manage MEP commercial activities across the full project lifecycle
~ Support procurement of MEP subcontract packages and suppliers
~ Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and commercial reporting
~ Identify, assess and manage commercial risks and opportunities
~ Ensure contract compliance and adherence to main contract requirements
~ Work closely with engineering and site teams to align scope and delivery
~ Support change management, claims and compensation events where required
~ Liaise with client and consultant teams on commercial matters
~ Contribute to monthly cost reporting and project financial reviewsRequirements
