PurposeThe Finance Manager will have full ownership of the Italy Services entity (c.15 employees), leading all financial, payroll, and statutory activities. This is a hands‐on role combining financial control, accounting, payroll coordination, and business partnering within a small, standalone entity environment.
Responsibilities
- Financial Control & Accounting




- Maintain full ownership of the general ledger and accounting records
- Record and analyse salaries, including payroll postings and reconciliations
- Manage fixed assets: capitalisation, movements, and monthly depreciation
- Record purchase invoices, staff expenses, and ensure compliance with deductibility rules
- Prepare and post accruals and deferrals (G&A; and other costs)
- Manage bank postings, reconciliations, and transaction allocations
- Payments & Cash Management
- Oversee and process all payments including salaries, tax payments, pension funds, suppliers, VAT, corporate taxes, and other statutory payments
- Act as secondary approver on banking platforms
- Monitor cash flow and working capital
- VAT, Tax & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and maintain VAT registers
