Responsibilities * Diagnostics, Repairs, and Maintenance o Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy‐duty spray trucks, tractors, and bulk liquid tankers. o Troubleshoot and repair common truck issues, including electrical systems, hydraulic and mechanical components, pumps, plumbing, and spray control systems. o Verify vehicle performance through test drives, adjustments to controls and systems, and system checks. o Adhere to scheduled maintenance plans, assist with preventative maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate service records using electronic software for DOT‐inspected equipment. * Spray Truck Fabrication and Assembly o Assist in assembly and fabrication of custom spray trucks, including welding, cutting, and other tasks to meet simple build specifications. o Install spray systems to ensure functionality, durability, and safe operation. * Shop and Inventory Management o Monitor and manage shop supplies by performing inventory checks, ensuring best pricing, avoiding unnecessary stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt of goods.



o Maintain shop cleanliness and organization using lean and 5S principles. * Field Service Support o Respond to occasional service calls at local field sites, typically no more than 3 hours away, with overnights required. o Provide support to the Canton shop during special projects or periods of increased workload, assisting with repairs, maintenance, and other shop tasks as needed. o Coordinate with Regional Field Service Managers to prioritize truck repairs based on upcoming jobs and adjust priorities as required. * Team Collaboration and Coaching o Collaborate with team members and provide technical guidance as needed. o Coach and support junior mechanics, sharing best practices and promoting safe operations. o Communicate professionally and effectively with team members and stakeholders, even under stress. * Safety and Standards Compliance o Ensure all work is completed according to established safety guidelines and company standa
