The activity of this project consists in the study and characterization of the interphases of advanced storage and conversion systems such as lithium metal batteries, metal ion and redox flow batteries. Advanced electrode materials will be investigated as well as the reactivity at the electrode/electrolyte interphase, the electrode/current collector interphase, especially in the case of aqueous electrolytes, to verify their stability. The solid electrode/electrolyte interphase, especially for the lithium metal electrode,
and the electrode/separator interphase will be studied for the optimization of ionic transport.
