Responsibilities
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the business, the bonded warehouse operator, the customs broker and internal stakeholders.
- Overseeing inbound and outbound operations within the bonded warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
- Monitoring customs broker and logistics provider performance through defined KPIs, service reviews and governance meetings.
- Managing the governance of the overall bonded warehouse process, including customs accounting, inventory reconciliation, compliance monitoring, monthly reporting and quarterly business reviews.
- Establishing and maintaining an internal control framework to verify that the bonded warehouse and customs broker operate in compliance with applicable customs regulations, internal procedures and contractual requirements.




- Performing periodic reviews and reconciliations between customs records, warehouse inventory and ERP transactions to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Coordinating corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives resulting from audits, inspections, compliance reviews or operational findings.
- Managing customs broker billing verification and ensuring alignment between contracted services and invoiced activities.
- Supporting customs audits, inspections and interactions with customs authorities, providing documentation, reporting and process expertise as required.
- Partnering with Logistics, Customs and Trade Compliance teams to ensure proper governance of customs duties, guarantees, special customs regimes and regulatory obligations.
- Driving process standardization, transparency and compliance across bonded warehouse operations while facilitating communication between internal stakeholders and external service
